Grinsolve → Solve & Scale: why we changed (and why you won’t want to miss this)
Hi — Taric here.
Big update: Grinsolve is now Solve & Scale.
This is more than a new header or logo. It’s a change that I want to fully own and explain — honestly — because you deserve it.
Why change the brand?
Two reasons, one practical and one personal.
Practically: after a few years, Grinsolve stopped communicating clearly what this newsletter had become. People should be able to glance at a name and understand the value. Solve & Scale says it plainly: we help you solve hard problems and scale products, teams, and careers.
Personally: I’ve changed. My experience, the things I’ve learned about work and life, and how I think about leadership have evolved. That evolution affected the content — and the old name no longer fit who I am or what I want to build here. Rather than pretend nothing changed, I’d rather align the name with the work and be transparent about it.
What’s changing in the content?
We’ll concentrate more on product leadership and scaling — frameworks, playbooks, case studies, and templates that product leaders and engineering managers can use immediately.
But this isn’t a narrow pivot. The content remains broadly useful: good leadership and decision frameworks translate across product, finance, operations, and beyond. If you work in a different function, you’ll still find tactics you can apply.
New rhythm and formats: expect a mix of rich playbooks (long), viral Notes (short experiments), and paid deep-dives with templates and checklists.
Why now? (the product lifecycle answer)
I’ll be blunt: subscriptions plateaued. That felt like evidence the product needed rethinking. More importantly, I changed — the person writing these posts has different priorities and insights than I did three years ago. That shift has changed my voice and my value. Rebranding is the honest move: it aligns the product with the person and the audience I want to serve.
Do you need to worry?
No. Your subscription, access, and our existing archive remain intact. No posts are being deleted. Paid members keep access to paid resources. If anything needs to change, you’ll be informed well in advance.
What will feel different?
A clearer name and look (you’ll see the new header and logo soon).
Sharper focus on product leadership and scaling — but cross-discipline lessons will stay.
Better deliverables for paid members: templates, one-page checklists, and occasional office hours.
Honest voice: more first-person lessons and case studies that show how I learned (and failed) — because that’s useful.
How you can help
If this resonates, two quick things help more than you’d think:
Send a message or comment and tell me one thing you want me to cover next — I read every response.
Share Solve & Scale with one person on your team who would use the playbooks.
Thank you for being here — for the feedback, the edits, and the honest conversations. This change is a step toward making this newsletter the resource I wish I’d had, and I’m excited to build it with you.

P.S. I’ll post a short FAQ and timeline in the next issue. If you want to preview the new member pack (templates) before launch, reply “preview” and I’ll share early access.
